Are you implying that our Shockers should get in over them despite them having 5 more top 50 RPI wins?

Some people on here are forgetting that we ran all over UNI at their place, then they came and stop our home court winning streak. We thought it was a fluke. Well, they've now beat us 2 out of 3. Who's adjusting and who isn't?

I will say this, though.
We had many opportunities to make our statement by winning just 1 or 2 games when Fred was hurt, and we didn't. If we don't make the tournament, while I think its bullshit, we need not be in this situation.
But who the hell knows?!"When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!

The Shocker team that played today is probably a 10 or 11 seed -- not a bad spot to be, but they also won't be that tough an out unless (a) they move themselves, and move the ball; (b) someone can hit an outside shot; and (c) LeFred gets back to playing drive and dish instead of drive and hope for the best. He's made himself much too easy to defend recently, and that needs to stop if the Shocks are going to go places. Less is more sometimes, which can be tough for a great competitor to realize and accept, but we're seeing the results of trying to do too much here late in the season, and it isn't a good look.

last year the shockers entered the postseason with three losses. this year they entered the postseason with seven losses. this has been a down year for them, by their standards, injuries or not.

After some reflection, I'm just starting to laugh at the current trend to say WSU is NIT bound by all the hacks out there. WSU may or may not be in, but the goons that are just flat out saying WSU is out because of an OT loss to UNI in the semi's are just f*cking mental. If they have 33 at-large cases that are better than WSU, then so be it. But to just be flippant and say that WSU is out is flat-out moronic.Deuces Valley.
