"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Honestly, I'd fear this mix if we went to a P5 conference/Big 12. Marshall has a knack for finding committed players; maybe we don't WANT to play "pick me!" for the one and done's! Let others have them if they aren't willing to promote team success over personal gain.

Anyway, sorry about all the KU talk. I know that pisses a lot of you off around here lol

I found this from over 3 weeks ago. Note that it doesn't count the Emporia State win and was before New Mexico State got rescheduled. Just focus on the loss column.

Seriously, there are quite a few teams that could help themselves by winning the rest of their games (although the writer actually just said at least five of their last six "and the Big East tournament," whatever that means -- I can almost guarantee that five between now and the end of the Big East tournament won't be enough for at-large consideration). But at Marquette, Butler, Providence, and Xavier, all as part of the last six for a team that currently is 3-5 on the road, is a pretty tall order.
