I'd be more than happy to list my opinions but my opinions such as your and anyone elses really dont pertain to the fact that Cleanthony Early was shot and he has many well wishes.

This whole situation was very unfortunate and I'm very glad to hear that Cle is ok. This was a pretty orchestrated crime based upon what happened and hopefully the police can put the pieces together.
At 4 in the morning at Michelle's Beach House? I'd be more than happy to take that bet.

Right or wrong has nothing to do with it. Choices on the other hand have plenty to do with it.

I'm thankful that Cle not only survived, but is out of the hospital already. I wish him a speedy and full recovery.

Regarding the "other" part of this thread... all of us choose to accept certain risks. Some of us choose riskier choices than others. There is nothing wrong with expressing disappointment when people we care about take risks we feel are too great.

I'm with ASM in the fact that I feel some posters on here are trying to justify the shooting with Cleanthony because he was out late? Heads up, being out late in New York is not inherently dangerous. I was out until 4:30AM several nights this summer in Manhattan and had no issue.

However, I am with Shock Talk on this one. The probability of things going south increase in a hurry as the night goes on. I know from experience, myself and one of my friends were robbed at 3AM outside of a bar in Miami this spring. Thankfully, I had no cash and only cards that I was able to quickly cancel...it did make for an interesting time through TSA the next day though. And my other friend who wasn't robbed had my phone to keep me from texting my ex-girlfriend (true bro). I wasn't too surprised it happened. We weren't in the best area of Miami and were in a dark public park. Bad things happen at that time of the night, sadly.

I also feel like this goes into the "haves" and the "have nots" of the NBA. There are highly successful players that do very similar things to what Cle did last night. However, those guys also make significantly more money and roll around with a "crew" that protects them. Cle's salary doesn't really afford him the ability to pay for a body guard.

Those of you who use the "nothing good happens after midnight" better grow tf up. Also those that 'would be pissed' if players stayed out to the closing time of bars. Get over yourselves.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

4am doesn't exist in Wichita to do bad things outside of robbing and murdering someone. Bars close at 130am or earlier as they want you out of there before 2am. However, I guarantee you the players are out at those bars having drinks bought for them by fans into the wee hours of the night.

This situation does not cast anyone in a good light. Not us, not the Knicks, not Cle, not Uber.

First I was thinking this was more of hit, but with the results above, it sounds like probably more like a guy who hasn't been trained properly in the use of firearm and probably had his finger on the trigger and inadvertently shot him in the knee.

Hopefully CLE makes a full recovery and maybe get some security if he going to be out that late.

Early, who makes a guaranteed $845,00 this season, was flashing cash and wearing gold chains with medallions as well as the grillz — gold mouthpieces favored by rappers that they left at the scene— leading investigators to believe he was targeted

His Uber was boxed in by 3 cars and 4-6 guys jumped him, robbed him and shot him in the knee. It was a pre-meditated assault/attempted murder.

How does that cast any of those you referenced in a poor light?

                            Give me a break.

Come on, man. That's the NY Post. It's basically a tabloid. I wouldn't take anything you read there as fact.

The couple hopped into an Uber cab at 4:15 a.m. and began fooling around in the back seat, sources said.
Yup, glad they included this.......... reputable source, indeed lmao

My last comment on this matter as it appears Cle will fully recover - physically that is - mentally, might take longer. Cle my man, you've got to utilize Yelp more often. This place has received horrible reviews and comments describe this joint located in a dangerous and isolated area. I love Yelp.
