Unlike Creighton, UNI has actually won two games in the NCAA tournament. They've been there before, whereas Creighton has to constantly deal with the cognitive dissonance that results from delusional fantasies meeting reality.

big east has them thinking they are something better than they really are. They sound like bitter KU fans, thinking they would be any different in the MVC than they currently are at 13-15. They frankly are a crappy team without Mcdermott and his supporting cast that are gone.

I imagine they will slowly become somewhat decent and mid level in the big east, but never as good as they were here.

This game was so much fun. UNI is a great team, but our guys rose to the occasion. Huge games from nearly everyone. Wessel, Baker, FVV, Bush, and Cotton. Wasn't fully relieved until TC pulled the windmill out of his pocket and closed the door. Wow!

Congrats on the title Shocker fans. That was a beat down yesterday. I thought we had the game won with momentum about the six minute mark after a 16-2 run, you guys showed extreme mental toughness and closed it out pulling away. Can't wait for a week from now. Lets take care of business Friday and Saturday and let the cards fall on the best of three!

I think you guys pass KU tomorrow which i'm sure will be very, very gratifying for you guys.

Looking forward to running into shocker fans next week at PBR, its my favorite place!

I don't. Marshall proved that they had overtaken Creighton at the top of the league before they left. They proved last year that he could run the table. And they proved yesterday that he can reload and beat teams that have had the stars align in their 5-year cycle.

Somebody is going to have to step up their game, and probably change their methods to do it.

The 3 WSU turnovers yesterday were two fumbles by Kelly that should have been layups (and assists for FVV) and a questionable at best illegal screen on Evan Wessel.

We showed just a couple of years ago that you can have a glorious run without winning a Valley regular season OR tournament title. It would be a beautiful thing to see both UNI and the Shocks go Sweet 16 or better.
