1. As an NIT game, there were no corporate tickets, so there was a higher percentage of rowdy fans.
2. It featured an insane double overtime with back and forth huge shots.

Anyone else notice the UNI fans who spent the whole game and post game with their hands clamped over their ears? Turns out an interlude dance doesn't prepare you for a wall of sound.

We made the NIT the year before, but it was a road trip to Iowa State. This was big because a conflict with the Florida State arena being used for other purposes forced the game to be played in Wichita.

Since I don't believe in jinxes or any of that stuff I will throw this out there: How long does the home court streak go on?

Unless Kentucky or the Dukes agree to home and home soon, might be a while. 3G has proven he doesn't rebuild and I suspect next year the youngsters will step up and play like Shocker veterans. That's not good news for the rest of the Valley!
