Every year, it's the same crap. A few higher ranked Power 5 teams get nice seed in mock brackets only to get shocked on Selection Sunday with a low seed or no bid. While media and fans get up in arms, a closer look shows that the team clearly has a poor non-conference strength of schedule. This isn't little (conference) man syndrome. The selection committee has actually done this regularly. This year, that team is Notre Dame. Don't get me wrong. The Irish will be dancing but whatever the prognosticators think, add about 3 or 4 to that number.
It really annoys me. It happens every single year, and yet every single year, the "experts" forget that.
