Well it looks like it's you guys lucky day. Wichita State is on fire and Kentucky can't hit a shot. Score is 2-0 with 19:34 to go in the first half.

All jokes aside I would love a Sweet 16 rematch with the Wildcats. I know that "the point of march madness isn't to play and beat the best teams in the country" but how much confidence would a team gain if they knocked off Kentucky at that point?

Then again, according to Face Palm, we'll probably go into the tourney as a 16 seed and face Kentucky the first game.

Nice find. KU loses to the #23 team in the country and holds steady at 8. I suppose we aren't gonna drop a seed line also if we were to lose to the #11 team in the country. Am I right?

I see Illinois State is sitting at No. 96 in the RPI. I assume we and UNI would like to see them finish the season in the Top 100.

If so, I guess I need to start rooting for them to win enough to stay in the Top 100 as difficult as that is.

Basically I'd like to see evansville and illinois st win out as best they can without beating us or UNI. I actually think those two teams have the pieces to maybe win a few games in the post season if it's the NIT and that is good for the Valley.

As I recall, Palm's only relevance was being the first to publish the RPI used by the NCAA. That's it. How he's managed to ride the ability to publish a glorified spreadsheet to somehow being a bracketology expert I'll never know. He's one of the worst there is, and his latest absurdity is exhibit Z-351.

Ignore the fool until he's proven wrong, then let the criticism flow.
