Conner can stay up in Lawrence, he made his bed and now has to sleep in it. He's a one dimensional player, all he has to offer is the three point shot. Baker is a much better fit for our system. We shouldn't be in the business of taking the chickenhawks leftovers, if you can't make it there, you won't make it here.

Baker has NBA potential after college. Conner has YMCA potential after college. I don't see WSU/Marshall taking him.

Evan's minutes increased throughout the season. Also, wouldn't he need a Grant Gibbs like exception to play more than one transfer season?

Under the 5 to complete 4 I think he probably would unless he went D-II. I like Evan and his hustle but I think he got the PT he deserved this year based on performance. He could stay, work his ass of (which is one thing I'm sure he does) and perhaps be a Graham Hatch v2.0.

The one thing I wondered about Evan is if he is having second thoughts about choosing basketball over football. If he transferred to another D-1 school to play football would he have to sit out a transfer year?

Not to substantiate any rumors, or even stating my desire or not for said rumor to be true, but 18 y.o. kids transfer for much sillier reasons than anything explained here. Dreiling transferred from WSU to KU to be closer to his girlfriend. These are kids, and sometimes do childish things. Wouldn't be surprised if CF is rethinking his decision and shopping around, but it may be something we all wouldn't think of because we're past the 18 y.o. stage (thankfully! I can hold my liquor better now!).

However, I did hear a rumor earlier this season that Evan (and especially his parents) were unhappy with his playing time here, and that he might leave the program. That might free up a spot, if true. I'm still gonna guess that it's not, but hey, this is the internet.

I feel bad for Evan, I honestly do, but he just hasn't been the same player since returning from injury. HCGM does what is bets for this team to win, and that has left Evan with fewer minutes this season.

His family has athletic history at WSU so I doubt it is true as well.

He already has the offensive game. All he would need to do is buy into the system.
