Conner needs a team like Evansville to truly be successful. A team that runs their whole offense through one guy that gets about 20 shots a night and gets at least three screens per possession. I don't see him being that successful in Marshall's system. Besides isn't it fairly common knowledge around here that Conner came out of the womb with ku gear on?Comment

Here's the deal. If a kid like Ferncramp was looking to transfer, I start thinking of questions. Does he want to be starting? In which case...Baker. Does he want to be close to home? Fair enough. Has he been told by his favorite lifelong school that recruiting is ongoing and the people coming in are more likely to gobble up his minutes in the future because of D and athleticism... That its in his best interest from a career standpoint, even though he is a very good player, to seek a school that will fit him? Decently warm. if Self leveled with him and his family over dinner or something, that would take care of the whole "raised a KU fan thing." Is none of this rumor remitely true at all and he is staying at KU? Probably. Come on. It's pretty hard for me to have watched the way he played in the dance and think they wouldn't want him back. Tharpe is the one with some splaining to do, not FartcampComment

Conner can stay up in Lawrence, he made his bed and now has to sleep in it. He's a one dimensional player, all he has to offer is the three point shot. Baker is a much better fit for our system. He basically saved KU in the first game handling the ball. What planet are you on? He would sit next year and have three years beginning when Ron and Fred are seniors.
