Not any kind of love for the Shocks when you are talking about Douggie Gottlieb who was at it again on inside college basketball after the game. Seth Davis said that if the Shockers run the table they should be a one seed. This started Douggie on his soapbox about our schedule and being overrated. Seth then asks him if they pass the eye test and Douggie basically says no and mentions that he saw them against St. Louis. You can tell that Seth is disgusted at this point and mentions something about politics and religion as if to say this is one of the things that they should not discuss at the dinner table. Wally Szerberbiak told Douggie he was wrong but in his usual fashion Douggie mentioned Kansas and some other BCS schools that are better. I will try and find a clip.

He has to be trolling at this point.
The Shockers are getting tons of buzz and I guess he wants to draw attention with his shtick.
I think it does us well to have this kind criticism to fight against. Lord knows the Valley isn't giving us much to get worked up about."Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should accomplish with your ability."

However, there is a lot of basketball to be played between now and the start of the tournament, and if the other top-five teams fall by the wayside and these two mighty mid-majors keep winning, then it will be hard to keep them down.

He thinks the shockers are great at just about everything (very complimentary tweets last night). With that said he doesn't bekeive they are one of the top four teams in the country. He gets paid to explain and defend his opinions. Last checked, KenPom has us as the seventh best team so his position Doug's position isn't crazy.
