In Lunardi's video "Bracketology, Trouble for the Tar Heels" he took a twitter question near the end concerning Wichita State. The person asked if WSU could be a one seed if they won out. Lunardi responded that he has them as a two right now and are close to a one. Should they run the table they would absolutely be a one seed.

In all likelihood, this won't be an issue. Rarely are there more than 1 or 2 BCS schools with that few losses in a given year.

Shox check in at #8.
8 Wichita State Shockers
Last Week: *
Wichita State Shockers (16-0)
Sophomore Fred VanVleet's efficient command of the Shockers' offense has been the biggest key to their 16-0 start. The chart below plots his running, five-game assist-turnover ratios from this season and last season, as well as those of Wichita State's starting point guard from '12-13, Malcolm Armstead. Armstead hovered around a respectable 2-to-1 ratio all season, but VanVleet did some foreshadowing in the lead-up to the Final Four, going on a 16-assists-against-one-turnover run during March:
And under the San Diego State discussion:
And Steve Fisher needs to be high up on everyone's coach-of-the-year lists. My top five thus far:
1. Bo Ryan, Wisconsin
2. Steve Fisher, San Diego State
3. Sean Miller, Arizona
4. Gregg Marshall, Wichita State
5. Fred Hoiberg, Iowa StateLast edited by jocoshock; January 9, 2014, 02:22 PM.Kansas is Flat. The Earth is Not!!

The Kansas State head coach isn't as closed-off on the idea of playing a series the Shockers, like Bill Self has been.
“I did all the scheduling at Purdue when I was an assistant there to Gene Keady and he told me then, when I was young, that scheduling was more important than recruiting. But I like things that are good for basketball.”
This absolutely would be. Good programs playing each other in November and December -- preferably with on-campus games -- is the best of early season college hoops. Marshall just wants decent options on the games. He won't do a two-for-one, meaning two games at K-State and only one at Wichita State. He's said playing a game at the Sprint Center is within reason.
