Ugh, the 90's killed the program. Man I wish we could get a Mulligan for that decade. That decade did nearly kill this program but the fans kept it alive. Still getting 7 to 8K a night in those awful years was outstanding.

Thanks for the link, 1979. Personally, I don't care what the headline says, I WILL be shocked if WSU heads into postseason play undefeated. But I'd be delighted to be wrong.

If the media wants to keep the WSU story going, which they do because even they get sick of talking about the same schools over and over again and they know an "underdog" story sells, they are going to have to pump the upset alert angle. Yes, we are the best road team in the country year after year. Yes, we are better than Mo St. But any given game right? So why not say "upset alert"? If that piques interest I'm all for it.
