Maybe it was part of an agreement for the future H/H series ;)

    • Pleased with the ranking. We were close to passing Michigan, but well ahead of the Mighty Spartans and stayed ahead of Louisville. I thought Virginia would be ahead of Louisville. The Jaybirds should count their lucky stars they're still in the top 25 much less #20.

        • Top 10 two years in a row.

Surely it will pay off on a top 100 some day soon. Won't it?

Probably not. Kids just love Kentucky, Duke and Carolina too much.

              • Two of the "nobody's" we played earlier this year are #23 Tennessee and #25 St Louis.

                  • I have never understood the allure of being one of 4 or 5 top 20 recruits all going to the same school. What's the point? If you win a national championship, then 'you were supposed to'. Anything less than that is a failure. When I play pick up ball, I ALWAYS want to be on the team with a bunch of scrubs and try and knock off the team that's been running the court for 5 straight games. If you have ALL the best players on your team, then what's the point?

Are you picking on me. Just wondering.

Should all comments be topical? If so, define topical.

Does having top rated recruits matter. Just playing with the fact that we've finished in the Top 10 the past 2 years without top-rated recruits.

                          • Keep posting RDR. I appreciate your quirky posts.

Some time back I saw a bright red Panamera S with Kansas personalized tag "RDR". Would that be you? If so, very nice mode of transport.

                            And I like topical lotions.

I think the allure is to practice and play with the best. If you think you are the best, then you want to challenge and be challenged by a peer.

Same. Marcus Lee, for instance, could have started on about 330-340 teams this year, and instead chose to be relegated to almost walk-on status. I've never understood it.
