Vegas does not make its money siding with the majority of the action, therefore, I
am going to revise my previous prediction of a 67-64 win to a loss by the same score.
I sincerely hope I am wrong and I know this will bring out the long knives to slice
and dice me. I'll be just fine with egg on my face tomorrow !
"You Just Want to Slap The #### Outta Some People"
@AndyGlockner: Is this the week where San Diego State or Wichita State loses a challenging road game and everyone calls them frauds? So much drama!
@AndyGlockner: Love that slant, especially on the Shockers. If they run the table, their schedule was weak. If they lose, they're a fraud. Good times.
@AndyGlockner: Because we have all sorts of 34-0 teams entering the NCAA every year. It's so easy to do, especially outside power conferences.
I've always liked Andy Glockner, one of the most knowledgeable sports writers around, especially when it comes to the non-Power conferences. I was disappointed when he left Sports Illustrated, not sure what he's doing now but his words still carry a lot of weight with college basketball fans.
I happened to be walking through a casino today ( I was there for a conference, OK!) The line was down to -2.5. Word on the travel issues got out, I'm sure.

And you read Playboy for the articles, too, right? :)

PSA: Barring either Syracuse or Arizona laying an egg at home against crummy teams later today, there are no losses in the Top 8 this week. None of those teams in the top 8 scored significant wins, either, so no movement should be expected.
Next week is CARNAGE WEEK. Below is a small sample of the difficult games ahead for relevant teams (based on current rankings):
Monday- #8 KU @ KSU, #16 ISU @ West Virginia Tuesday- #3 Florida @ Tennessee, #10 Michigan @ Ohio State, #5 SDSU @ Wyoming Wednesday- #1 Syracuse @ #25 Pitt, #6 Villanova @ DePaul, #11 Duke @ UNC, #18 Kentucky @ Auburn Thursday- Eh, not much Friday- #2 Arizona @ Arizona State
I exercised discretion and excluded a few others, but as you can see....that is a heck of a lot of tough road games before the weekend. I will be floored if Syracuse, Arizona, and Florida make it through unscathed.
The reason I post this is to point out that there is no reason to get worked up when we are still #4 and #2 tomorrow after a strong week. Our chance to move up is coming.

#7, in both polls, Cincinnati lost by 21 last night to SMU.

I don't know. I think ISU, SDSU, CUSE, NOVA, TUCKY and ZONA win. KU, Florida, Michigan and Duke go down
