Can anyone remember if Syracuse, LSU, or George Mason ranked when we beat them in 2006?

I thought LSU was in the top 10. But took a nose dive that year.

If I recall Syracuse was in the 20s ranked.

My mind could be way off.

According to ESPN LSU was #6 and Syracuse was #15 when WSU played them in the 2006-2007 season.

I can't think of a single good argument for us to be ahead of anyone else in the Top 10. I feel we are pretty fortunate to be where we are at right now.

That argument will change as we keep winning.

I think that's probably because it was such a devastating loss to a team like Wichita State, that they we're able to recovery from it. And they still really haven't recovered.

2006-07 is the season in discussion. An above user (old phone, can't look) was right. LSU was No. 6 and Syracuse was No. 15.

I think it's a toss-up between landing at #8 or #9 tomorrow. We definitely hop Villanova and maybe/maybe not jump Louisville too.

I think we will jump Louisville. Lots of national pundits realizing that they have played two games to even decent teams....and have lost both.

I think # 8 would be a nice resting place for the entire season. But believe that if we go undefeated, we can't help but get moved up….

I just don't know if we are better than that, given that we haven't played a top 25 team all year. We could be though. I just don't know. I don't see any team ahead of us that we couldn't beat.
