You're probably right. So how about this:

George Mason v Gonzaga then Wichita State v Memphis
Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!

OK I was just wanting some clarification from some of you...will we struggle and get beat down in the new BE? Lucky to be in the top half? Or is this league going to be very similar to the Valley? Maybe a small step up? In the past 15 years we have never finished worse than 4th in the Valley so you can't have it both ways. Yes there are risks to this move but they are far out weighed by the positives. As for marketable teams...G'Town? Marquette? Nova? St Johns? I mean these are big time schools. On top of that Butler has been solid for 15 years and Xavier as well. Like it or not Creighton has been the most consistently good school in the Valley for 15 years and you guys say they will be a bottom dweller but the conference wont be very good? Thats contradicting everything you are saying. Sorry to the majority of the posters on this board that have made solid posts but some are ridiculous.
BTW I post here because I do have some friends that played for WSU back in the early 2000's and I cheer for your team but reading this makes it hard sometimes.

Nobody cares who you root for on the side. If its that hard for you quit doing it but please stop holding it over this forum it will paralyze it.

I'm green with envy. We'll be stuck playing on a Tuesday night in Terre Haute while Creighton will be an hour away playing Butler in Indianapolis...

I think most of us here really don't care if you cheer for WSU or not. In the last 15 years CU has three NCAA wins and WSU has two. CU has two outright MVC championships and WSU has two.

At the start, I think CU will be in the middle of the American Idol 12 with a chance for the NCAA. If CU stayed in the MVC, they would be behind WSU next year. It seems to me that McDermotts track record is a bit of a mystery. He never finished better than 3rd or 4th at UNI, mediocre at Iowa State and then at CU he had the services of an All-Amercan. Does he have more all-American sons in the stable? How will he fare recruitng against Georgetown, Marquette, St Johns, etc?

If we were ever in a better position to take advantage of our high stock price, it is now. Fr. Tim Lannon has been President at CU for almost 2 years - regardless of how it turns out, this will go down as one of the signature moves of his administration (and Bruce Rasmussen's). Bardo is doing things on the academic and student life front and has openly said that athletic success is certainly one of (if not the) easiest ways to bring attention to the University. ADES needs a signature move as well because I'm not sure that will come in the form of a hire when it needs to happen.
