I’ve got this quiet dream and hope that somehow we’ll go on a tear through the conf tourney and make it to the tourney lmao. The sad state of me.

I know the odds of that are infinitesimal, but I think I would rather miss out than to make the tournament as a 15 seed and get destroyed in the first round.

I hold you as one of the best and rational posters here, but I disagree....in my son's sophomore hoops season they were a 4 seed in regionals and had to be a #5(by 2) a #1 (on a miracle shot to SEND us to overtime) and then the #2 who had beaten us twice in regular season....made it to state, where for our pleasure, we drew a23-0( soon to be 26-0 state champs) and got KILLED......and you know what? The win THAT year was getting there....

I get what you're saying, but I'm not sure comparing a high school team to D1 is apples-to-apples.

I should have added a caveat to my statement. It assumes we would be no better at AAC tourney time, than we are now. If the team should turn a corner to where they are playing consistently like a top-half conference team, then I'll feel very differently. I just don't want the Shocker brand to be lumped in with teams from the ASUN, Metro Atlantic, et al., who are the typical 15-seed teams.

                        • SDSU vs Nevada is a great game. In OT and still tied.
