    • I find these rules on practicing absolutely laughable in this new era of anything goes NIL and transfer portal. What a joke!

      • Had an opportunity to play a little golf with a former WSU basketball player and had a few conversations about the old valley conference and the new AAC conference and recent changes. He said ADKS had told a "Group" of them that an emphasis to upgrading the pre conference schedule in ALL sports was being pushed to give each team a greater chance at an at large invite rather than hoping to win the conference tournament. This seems to go along with ADKS comments on Sports Daily he made recently. He also admitted that he stayed at home to watch lesser opponents games rather that drive across town to watch in person. He said these types of games held little appeal to players or recruits and knew of at least a couple of people who dropped their tickets because of it. So hopefully we will see fewer buy games that hold little to not interest. Go Shocks

        • Speaking of which, does anyone know if we still have games to fill in for this season? I’ve lost track.

3 Home: Lipscomb, Richmond, Western Kentucky
            2 Away: K-State (KC), Missouri
4 Neutral: 3 in Myrtle Beach, KU (KC)

By my count, 4 left, though it seems like I am missing a home game. Based on my list above, I would guess 3 more at CKA and 1 more at IBA.

OU was a 4 game (16-17 OKC, 17-18 IBA, 18-19 OKC, 19-20 IBA). This one has been done for awhile.

OSU is unknown. (16-17 IBA, 17-18 GIA, 19-20 GIA, 20-21 CKA, 21-22 GIA, 22-23 IBA). Nothing has been said about this series being extended, but I suppose it is possible.

Not the sexiest home schedule so far, but no Q4 snoozers is a plus. Someone should ask TE how long it will be until WSU considers scheduling Alcorn State again lmao

                  • I know this says noncon, but I don't care today.

We get to see who we're facing in conference this year. Five H/H and the other eight teams are one offs. FAU is the only newbie we get twice, which must mean the conference is expecting us to be better than I am.

I'm thinking 11-7 with this schedule.

                        • Is there anyway we can get Ehimen to explain this schedule?

I'm thinking only someone with advanced math skills along with a business degree will be able to explain it.

Looks like about 6-12 to this guy.

                          • Friends in mid November is an odd one. And SDSU at Intrust.. other than that... Probably a reasonable schedule for how we will probably be next year.

7 non con home games but 2 are non D1

One of those two is an exhibition game. I still wish we played Kansas schools for those games. Friends as a tune up before Myrtle Beach makes some sense.

South Dakota State at Intrust makes no sense, but we don't have any home games this year that really do make sense for IBA.

Yea .. my main comment was around the number of non-con home games, exhibition or not. Lower than previous years. Though probably a decent trade off to get some decent neutral games.
