That's not questionable and it's one of the worst things he could have said. Minorities who want to further the cause of integration, which would benefit them, don't make comments that are obviously race-based.

He just gave justification to every White Supremacist for their attitudes and positions on racial issues. When comments like that get into certain elements of society, they quickly become "See, they all hate us".

I hope K-State's all black coaching staff has a little chat with their recruit. I'm all in on wanting integration and I already dislike this guy because he's racist. I don't dislike him because of his skin color. I dislike him because he's got an attitude I don;t like to see in people regardless of their skin color.

There always has been and always will be some folks of all races being racist. I've known white racist, black racist and Hispanic racists in my lifetime. I find it odd that whites are the only one to be tabbed supremacist, and most of those tabbed supremacist aren't even racist.

Someone on this thread tried to explain what he meant to say, and said it was possibly misinterpreted. The statement had quotes , so I don't see misinterpretation. It's just his feelings, and that's OK in my book.

Each race has been brought up differently, with different cultures. Not unlike a white guy in Gentry Arkansas being different from a white guy in Las Angeles. They won't see eye to eye on very many things, and probably wouldn't get along with each other to well, even though they are both good guys.

People need to realize and accept our differences and respect others regardless of those differences. It's what's in ones heart and character that are important. This kid is probably a good kid, and that's what counts. And if a white kid picked a school because of an all white coaching staff, that's OK too.

Where have you heard that it is contingent on Abmas? I haven't heard any credible source say that. Did Mills say he was confident the roster would be complete by today? Maybe I missed that quote from him.

You are right Shockhat. I can't wait for all the signings today. Coach Mills said that these assistants can really recruit. He also said at his first press conference that they would have no problem filling the roster. Sounds good to me. Let's sign some players today.

More so deduction. Taylor indicated the coaching staff was confident the rest of scholarships would be filled by this point. Seemed like things changed when direction on Abmas potentially changed. So just guessing here

I am fine with filling the roster but with at least 3* or above talent. Otherwise be patient and hold at least a couple until the right guys are ready.

Being "confident" that something "could be" done is a little ambiguous, though. Although it does strongly indicate some sort of tipping point happening that causes the rest of the dominoes to fall.
