Indeed and apropos. Much like Vezzini we continue to witness an ongoing trainwreck that at each turn exceeds what we thought conceivable only moments before.

If the university converted Koch arena to student housing and a food court tomorrow, would we say "inconceivable," or merely shrug at this point?

Cohen's one. You can thank the consulting guru for that one. I'm not ready to say HCIB is as bad if not worse. Not yet.

Who was the other, and what was their record after 2 years?

Gary Thompson was the first. He was given the keys to the kingdom and each year he regressed. I think he coached 6 or 7 years, but never improved from year to year was my recollection. Cohen...well enough said. Brown won 73% of his games his first year and 53% his second year. We made the final 4 not that long ago and we resort to replacing that final 4 coach with a lifetime assistant that is as vanilla as they come. We are about to become 0-3 with failures with assistants being promoted to HC.

Not gotten around since '87? :)

                I think you'd enjoy it.

Yup, it's a classic. Every so often I'll tell someone 'have fun storming the castle' and some people get it :)

For those who haven't seen it, here's the IMDB page of quotes - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093779/quotes/ Also, if one has never seen the IMDB web site, the quotes and trivia pages of a movie are great. Also, if you're a parent, you can check out the Parents Guide for each movie to see if there's anything that might be too much for kids.

They don't show us much in the 'old folks' home... mostly Hallmark greats.

Now that the thread is fully hijacked, let me add a great score and end credits song by Mark Knopfler. Let's all show up at WstateU retirement home with popcorn and VHS copies.

This is dead... apparently Anderson isn't interested and Tulsa can't afford the 2.5 million buyout.

Maybe. And maybe not. Your guess is as good anybodies though.

But no, Cohen never came close to reaching such heights as HCIB.
