Unless something unexpected happens, We're going to need a bigger pooper scooper. The Shox has some dawgs, but not the kind you want on your team.

Oklahoma State beats a ranked Texas team 64-51.
Mizzou beats #15 Alabama 92-86.
We're not where anyone wants us to be, but we're not horrible either.
Especially being a team without a true 5, only one point guard and only 10 players (counting Jenkins) available.

So Utah State at New Mexico. One minute left and Utah State is down 1 and gets fouled and the USU player fouled is hurt. 73-72 New Mexico
He's out and New Mexico picks the 7'0" center shooting 53% to shoot. He drills them both. 74-73 USU
New Mexico misses and USU boards, no shot clock.
New Mexico player doesn't foul the ball handler because the USU player is a good FT shooter and (lip reading) the NM player didn't want to pick up his 4th foul (not that it matters).
Finally he fouls, make make. 76-73 USU
New Mexico moves the ball into the corner and hits the tying 3 with 3.1 USU immediately in bounds the ball, 2 dribbles, splits the double team and throws one up from just beyond 1/2 court, off the window, good. Game over.
Except it's not. The officials get together and granted NM bench a timeout (replay shows a dubious, as in late TO but the replacement coach as Pitino is out due to Covid).
So no basket. USU ball with 3.1 76-76
They throw a baseball pass to half court, and the guy catches the ball and goes out of bounds. NM wants the ball back.
USU is granted a timeout (no signal for the TO before he hits OOB). 76-76
USU in bounds and gets a great look but misses the corner 3 at the buzzer. OT
New Mexico has Jamal Mashburn Jr. on their team. He's a scorer. Tied his career high of 26. Now has 29.
Justin Bean, 6'7" senior forward from Moore OK is a player.
Utah State was down as much as 17 but wins 90-87 in OT surviving a buzzer half court shot attempt at the end by New Mexico.
Steve Forbes beats Syracuse 77-74 in OT and Wake is 13-3
Miami beats the Dukies in Durham 76-74
Jamarius Burton had 2 FTs late to help Pitt beat BC and Earl Grant 69-67. JB had 14.
Tarleton beats SFAustin in OT 76-71
Oklahoma goes on a HUGE run late and beats Iowa State. Porter Moser can coach big time. He was incompetent at Illinois State 17 years ago going 51-67 in four years. Not surprisingly, his even more incompetent AD, Sheahon Zenger fired him. (He'd go on to butcher KU athletics as well).
The fighting Chris Jans' move to 13-2 with a 85-73 win over UTRGV.
Drake barely survives an Evansvilling 60-59 when the Aces miss a couple of shots at the buzzer.
Loyola gets Bradley (how are they still the Braves?) in OT 78-70.
UNI keeps at large hope alive with a one point win at SWOMO.
SIU I think has found a coach in former Saluki Bryan Mullins. The Salukis are 9-5 , 6-0 at home and 2-0 in conference. Playing tough basketball, imagine that.

You don't cut your teeth at a top 50ish program and see success very often at all. It's hard.
