IMO and work experience with troubled employees, if DD is not on the bench for the Mississippi game Marshall needs to move on regards this season.

Regret losing a talent like DD but the ceiling for this season's Shockers is high and rising. Those on-court minutes provide great opportunity for DG to grow and be an experienced player for post season and 2020/21 season. Shocker fans have to love what is happening this season and its portension for next season.

Maybe I’m being naive but Dexter isn’t an “employee” (despite the best efforts, right or wrong, of many to classify college athletes as such).

Also, I could be wrong, but few (no one?) here have any idea what’s going on. I certainly don’t. I trust the coaching staff to handle whatever is going on with the 19 (?) year old kid who by all accounts is a great teammate and student. They have direct knowledge of the situation. We have some life experiences with people whose situations may or may not have anything to do with what he’s going through.

I know you said it’s your opinion and you may ultimately be right but my opinion is that I’m going to wait and see what happens because A) I don’t know what’s going on with him and B) I have no control over it anyways.

Dexter has tweeted a couple things for the 1st time since December 23rd in the last 24 hours. Whether that is a good sign or not I could not say:

How much of this has to do with dealing with this tragedy I couldn't say. I can only hope Dexter can honor the memory of his lost friend by taking care of himself and being the best that he can be wherever that leads him.

So we can only hope he is listening to his professional basketball mentors ...



Because the NCAA tournament is ...



And Marshall and his assistants are all ...



So we want him to ...



Because he has prepared his whole life and is too good to not be doing this!



And when he pushes through it, it will make him feel like this!

Ummm... his buddy was shot over two years ago. The grieving process is over. If it's anxiety over being shot as well, I can assure him the last place he will get shot is playing for the Shockers in Wichita, Kansas.

Patience has run out. Time to grow up. The Shockers are a LOT bigger than Dexter Dennis.
