        There goes Kickham
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Wonder if Coop's bad performance on three-days rest hurt his draft status.

Wow! The Angels picked a junior pitcher from Oregon St that had Tommy John surgery and missed the entire 2010 season in round 7.

(I think he can beat it with a great Junior year) :)

Will he sign? Will the Indians pony up?

As do I! It'll be a calculated risk either way for Cooper. If you watch the results, there are several cases where players were drafted in higher rounds only to not sign and come back the next year with a much lower round. One case I've noticed today is Varner from UT at Arlington. Drafted in the 34th round in 2009 as a Junior. Went today in the 6th round as a Senior. Obviously, it will come down to money as well as where they see Cooper starting out (ie, Rookie ball vs A ball).

I think he comes back. Improves his draft status next year and goes in the top 5 rounds. Wishful thinking anyway.

I think we have a great chance of returning everyone except for the sniors of course. If so we will most definitly be back in the post season next year.
