I'm not sure I even follow your point in the first place here and I'm not sure if anything is worse than getting absolutely tossed out of a game like that. I mean, there's almost not even enough TIME in a game to allow more runs. It's hard to beat a bad team 18-4.

If you're talking about the Shox, it'll be a long time before they sniff a super regional again, especially with the coach they have. And I wouldn't worry about making friends on these boards, if you have a differing opinion of some of the long time posters here, you'll get called out.

All I know is we got our tails whipped 5 times by the best of the MVC and I personally will be rooting for MSU to bounce back and take the next 2. If not it was still a heck of a season for MSU, one that WSU likely will not see for quite some time.

I do find it funny that Arkansas is becoming relevant and figuring out how to hit again now that Todd Butler is no longer there. Go figure lol

Does this score remind you at all of that time when big east powerhouse creighton had what they thought was a great season and then they got destroyed 85-55 in the post season by a regular Baylor team, reducing Dougie to tears (the embarassed bad kind, not the joy mixed with sorrow as he closes a chapter kind)?

It's one game, even the best teams have bad games. I've seen mlb teams get beat 18-4, so I'm not as quick to judge off one game as some are.

Now, if it happens again tomorrow, then yea, it probably means MSU was overmatched. We'll see what happens

Be all and end all? No. But it is a decided advantage to play at home throughout the tournament. Way more top seeds win than lose. Way more.
