Who wouldn't want a top 10 team in their league next season? It's a boost for us and the AAC. Mutually beneficial.

Hey guys just wanted to come see your place since word has it that we are going to be conference mates again. You will enjoy AAC, good schools, fun games. Welcome (pending the official announcement). There are a lot of posters from CSNbbs AAC conference reading your board, lol.

I am excited cause after moving to Dallas last year I was worried I wouldn't see any games in person unless I drove back to KS (which I have)
It will be nice to see some games close to me :)"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

http://www.realtimerpi.com/rpi_conf_Men.html AAC #7 rpi MVC #12 .Addition of WSU put RPI for the AAC at .5330 , if I have done my math right. Big step up from the ValleyLast edited by kcshocker11; March 30, 2017, 11:48 PM.I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

I'm moving my glass from 3/4 full to overflowing. This is basically a done deal for 2017-18. This is the first I've felt any confidence that it could happen this year. I was skeptical of that. Not skeptical any more.
It will be great to have teams like SMU coming to CKA every year. Throw in UConn, Temple, Memphis, and Cincy coming in on alternating years. The excitement can return to our house. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

One thing that Doc and I discussed about the mid-2000s Valley was the coaches in the league. So many guys who are now considered to be Top 40 (if not higher) coaches along with other solid guys like Tom Davis and Royce Waltman.
Check out this list...not many nights off here:
Gregg Marshall (obviously had to put this one first and foremost)
Tubby Smith
Kelvin Sampson
Mick Cronin
Tim Jankovich
Kevin Ollie
Frank Haith
Brian Gregory
Johnny Dawkins
Fran Dunphy
Mike Dunleavy
Jeff Lebo78-65

Watched local TV sports tonight to see how they would handle such late breaking news. 12 had it but don't the girl anchoring understood the significance of the latest report. Kind of buried lead. KAKE had it and presented it well. KSN didn't have it and led with high school soccer.

It's a great night to be a shocker. This will go down as one of those "I remember exactly what I was doing when I found out we were heading to the AAC" type of moments.
For me, I was holding a sleeping baby and doing some office paperwork on my living room couch. What a great night!
