Call me lame, but my wife has never had to wear a helmet to bed.

Next up: @MoValley John: dives in with a "what about knee pads?" comment.

Not to get "political", but, even if it was somehow "the most fair tax", it would still be a tax for something most, including me, don't want to pay a tax to have. ( I suspect)

Make that a 2% sales tax.

Or maybe it's time we just split the state funding in three equal shares, according to their philosophy?
Perhaps the new stadium could double as a campus safe place.

                  • Say what you will about the Valley -- and I've said my share, most of it less than positive -- but I'm just glad, after looking at New Mexico State's WAC schedule in the wake of the basketball team's weather problems, that WSU is in the Valley and not the WAC.

                    • We got that underwear football in Omaha, I've never been to a game, don't want to, don't care.

I like my football to be about football,I want my food to be about food, and my nudie bars to be about nudie bars. You mix too many chicken wings with strippers AND football, somebody's gonna choke on something.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

                      • Tryouts for the upcoming season will be held on Jan. 9th at the Ralston Arena. If you know a hot chick that wants to play indoor football, send her up.

Why wear them? I had them built in to the floor at the foot of the bed.

If it allows the Innovation Campus to grow more that will result in more economic growth for the region perhaps giving that single mother better employment opportunities. Also increased enrollment by traditional college students at WSU provides economic benefit to the community.

If @ShockTalk: is right and it doesn't take the full 1% for 5 years I think it would be beneficial to still keep it the full 5 years and invest the surplus directly into the Innovation Campus providing more economic benefit for the community.
With this reasoning why not throw on another 1/2% for USD 259, they don't ever have enough money.

Who can trust the BoE after the last bond passed and the board did not spend it entirely in the manner in which they marketed the campaign. No new additional NE High, SE, etc...? Instead they build magnet schools?
I'm for education, but they screwed the pooch and seem like duplicitous bad politicians.

No, I don't support that at all. But I suppose it's a nice thought.
