The US gov supports the majority/plurality of drug product development in world. We also have the strongest patent laws in the world for drugs which allows innovators to make money on their profound investments. The new drugs are approved here and the money is made through the American consumer, insurance company, and tax payer. The pharma companies then sell their head same drugs to other companies at drastically reduced cost. We pay the difference in our purchases, and often the US government subsidizes the cost to the third world through federal aid.

Additionally, the pharma company that is sending this new medicine to these third world countries below cost also uses this as a bargaining chip to get those countries to commit to purchasing older drugs at a profit. The US subsidizes a lot of costs to other countries in this way and the pharma companies make money off everyone.
    Informational. Thanks!

Plenty of retail/wholesale distribution channels it sounds like. Price discrimination based on what the 'customer' is willing/able to pay. Basic stuff. Sounds like a healthy capitalistic industry.

Is it safe to say that there won't be old folks lying in their nursing homes crying themselves to sleep at night with no vaccine, thanks to the Great Chinese/Ukraine/Socialist Satan Joe Biden who gathered everything up in the dark of the night and shipped it to North Africa?

Don’t know where it will be distributed or when.

Were Biden celebrations super spreader events? Experts think so.

Moderna’s 94% effective rate? Fauci says that’s as good as it gets.

They were 'Biden' events, but they were not 'sponsored' by the campaign. There are fools everywhere and foolishness knows no specific political stripe, this is your typical liberal fool, as opposed to your typical conservative fool. Biden should have probably said something about the danger of getting out in public (like a lot of these people were) yelling and screaming without a mask, but he did not.

But irregardless, people should know better and this is clearly irresponsible behavior.

So are these drug companies just good, or is this virus easy to make a vaccine for? Did we ask pro basketball players to make a layup, when they are used to trying to make full court shots?

True but Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot who clamps down on her citizens with an iron hand, was shown on one of these events. Plenty of Democrat hypocrites who don't do as they say. At least the Republicans aren't hypocrites.

There are other Democrat hypocrites who participate in possible spreader events who weren't in on Biden events.

The great thing about Moderna's vaccine is that it can be kept in a normal freezer supposedly.

New statement from Pfizer claiming 95% efficacy.

From a supply chain perspective, Pfizer has validated shipping containers that will maintain -70 C for two weeks using dry ice.
