  • Cruz is now asking for a police escort from HPD when he gets back to Houston. If I were the Mayor, I'd just tell him that he needs to pay for the costs of the escort, since he caused the problem.

Again, shows what a chickenshit #tedthetraitor is.

Maybe Ruiz will adopt him? Yes, let's get that arranged NOW. At least then our gov could appoint Chip Roy as his replacement. And Chip has a few functioning brain cells. Chip is not a seditionist, either, and I would bet he wouldn't run like a chickenshit to Cancun instead he would stay home and try to help his constituents, just like you would expect him to.

Hey Ruiz, do they have a chief dogcatcher as an elected position in Cali? Perhaps you could get him to run for that job. It fits him better.

Laughing my ass off at these "fiscal conservatives" who make bad decisions and piss our tax dollars away asking for a police escort to protect him from the voting public.

    • Now Ted is trying to say he was a good dad.....how about trying to be a good human being first? The rest of it will take care of itself. Damn, I hope he's gotten past his expiration date. What a dumbshit.

Do you know what a 'constitutional lawyer' (Cruz's claim to fame) is?

Someone who pulls 'facts' out of his ass and pretends they are all true. See 1/6. See him and fellow 'constutional lawyer' #Hee-Hawley.

        • Dude, somebody call in a welfare check on Con. Even more triggered today than usual. Feel bad for his family. I hope they are all ok.

I would bet that Cruz has done more in his what 8-9 years in the senate than Hiden Joe did in 47 years as a "politician".

Look how fast you got thrown to the wolves by your own the second you move one mm outside the tribal boundaries. It's laughable if it wasn't so sad. What an incredibly limiting mindset. GroupThink or suffer the consequences.

Nope. I think wufan is correct in his posts.

Check biden family's income. Son and brother have huge gains through deals with foreign countries governments. I doubt those deals could have happened without joe being in high office.
If trump's kids had continued running family business in other countries, as they have for years, what would the Dems have done with that?
Trump had no idea who to trust when he got in the game, except those he knew and family.

                  • Australian media evidently is not in the left pockets and are willing to give their observation.

It is clear US President Joe Biden is not up to the task he has been “sworn in to do”, according to Sky News host Cory Bernardi. “Never before has the leader of the free world been so cognitively compromised,” Mr Bernardi said “It’s clear to me at the least that US President Joe Biden is struggling with dementia and is clearly not up to the task he’s been sworn in to do.”

There is some serious leftism in Australia. There is also a significant conservatism there as well. Not sure what dominates.

Facebook just had an add revenue dispute with Australia and shut down ALL of the government social media accounts including emergency services. I’m curious to see how this plays out.

Yeah - there is some serious libertarian issues going on there in Australia. COLD would be sporting a "woody" when the police break in to house and confiscate all the family electronics and make arrests for protesting covid lockdowns.

"You're under arrest in relation to incitement," says one of the officers, explaining that Buhler is being detained due to a Facebook post about an anti-lockdown protest in Ballarat, southern Australia.
A woman in Australia has been arrested and charged with incitement after promoting an anti-lockdown protest, sparking criticism.

The proper way to handle that situation is to use the intelligence gathered about any protests and monitor them for masking and social distancing. The moment the pandemic safeguards are being wantonly disregarded, the people would then be instructed to disperse or be arrested.

The only reason lesser minds would confuse such action as an attack on liberty is because they can't differentiate between protests inside and outside of a pandemic and the "obvious" implications therein.

I don't care if you are protesting police brutality, abortions, or the spotted owl; if you are violating safeguards designed to save your very ass (and your neighbors), you will be handled. This is a shining example of saving someone from themselves. It is a national emergency. It's the same as pulling over when EMS vehicles are headed your way. You abide or be cited if caught.

                            Two problems with that:

                            1. That was not the topic at hand - it was "Lockdowns" - e.g. you can't leave your house. And they arrested her because she posted on social media she didn't agree with her government.

                            2. There is no law against masking or social distancing. It is a RECOMMENDATION. Some business believe in that recommendation and some don't. The only place the police are patrolling for people not wearing mask or violating "social distancing" in your fantasy world.

                              1. I did not condone the arrest; instead, I offered my opinion of the proper way to handle the situation as it played out.

Fines for breaching public health directives have totalled millions of dollars since the coronavirus pandemic began in early March. Here's the state-by-state breakdown.

She was arrested in her house because she posted contrary views to the government. She wasn't outside in the public violating the lockdown or not masking. She was posting on facebook and the "thought police" showed up on her doorstep

Come on, just admit it, you are so triggered by face masks and social distancing your wet dream is to join the SMP's, and want to be out on patrol arresting those flaunt the pandemic safeguards. You could be the Barney of the Pandemic.....but it ending in April so you may not get your chance.
