Moreover, what is acceptable now for a police officer to react with force? Do they have to be touched? Do they have to see 100% proof of a firearm? Do they have to wait until they are fired at first? I wouldn't be a cop for a million dollars. And these same people that think all cops are evil are the same ones that would never call 9-1-1 if someone is breaking into their house or somebody was harming a family member or friend or themselves....
And finally, most, if not all of these situations can and would be avoided if someone wasn't breaking the law in the first place. If you truly don't want to EVER deal with law enforcement, then DON'T BREAK THE LAW. That simple. Now, if there are instances of certain demographics being pulled over just for the sake of being pulled over or looking "suspicious", then that's not right and should be called out on. But seemingly in every one of these unfortunate incidents, someone was breaking the law or likely breaking the law to begin with. Of course that doesn't excuse the use of excessive force if it is indeed excessive and not warranted.

I don't think I'd ***** too much about democrats, the republican party seems to be the party of dunces these days and everything is a hoax.....SMH.
This fine work courtesy of the chairman of the republican party in a county of about 2 million people, not a backwoods county out in the middle of nowhere.
Y'all might want to let that sink in, perhaps you will conclude there are a lot of fools in all political stripes these days.

My understanding is that NYPD cops are working 12 shifts and have not had a day off since all of this has started. Those kind of hours under that kind of pressure they're facing would wear on the very best of us.

In another instance, there is a still frame of two cops wielding their batons above their head as a black man is on his knees. The headline reads of brutality. The full context of the video shows that the black man is on his knees because he had just run out of the crowd from 20 foot away and speared one of the cops against a van. He had fallen to his knees after the tackle.
Lots of bad stuff out there on video with and without context. Rioting is bad. Police brutality is bad. Both can be true at once. Everyone should be weary of drawing conclusions that support their bias based on social media and news.Livin the dream

One other thing...there are hundreds of thousands of protestors and tens of thousands of cops. They are interacting daily, and most of them aren’t causing harm. I read some pretty vile things on social media. Some of these posters I know personally. I’m not having or seeing the negative interactions in person that one would think Would be the case. Most folks are good people.Livin the dream

There are a lot of people out there that are good people with no issues toward anyone and are just doing their thing. You just never see that on tv or the internet anymore.
I guess I just don't understand how a space like the media would relish in the act of decisiveness, evil, and hate. For page hits and eyeballs? Man, that's a pretty scummy way to earn a living.

We have this going on in Hutch, from the Hutch PD's facebook page:
MEDIA RELEASE
06/04/2020
BLACK LIVES MATTER PROTEST
On Wednesday (June 3rd, 2020) the Hutchinson Police Department became aware of a Black Lives Matter protest being planned for Friday (June 5th) beginning at 11am and lasting into the night. Chief Hooper and other community leaders reached out to a representative of the organization planning the event. Chief Hooper expressed to the group the desire to work together to have a peaceful protest.
The Hutchinson Police Department will deploy additional resources in conjunction with a sound operational plan to ensure the safety of our community. The citizens of Hutchinson should know that HPD remains steadfast in our commitment to protect and serve all our citizens and their property.
BLACK LIVES MATTER PROTEST
UPDATE
After several hours of communication between the protest organizers, the Hutchinson Police Department and other community leaders there is a process in place to move the official protest to Saturday (June 6th) between 11am-1pm. However, this does not guarantee that there will not be activity at the protest location today ( 30th and Main, Friday June 5th).
Due to increased threats against the protest organizers the Hutchinson Police Department is strongly asking them to cancel this protest for their own safety and the safety of our community.
In the event the protest continues as planned the Hutchinson Police Department is urging community members to avoid the protest area and allow us to perform our duties in protecting both the community and the protestors.
I understand there is great concern in our community regarding this event. Have faith in the men and women of the Hutchinson Police Department and our emergency services partners. We have an operational plan in place and are prepared. We will work tirelessly to protect and service our community and see us peacefully through this event.
Chief Jeffrey C. Hooper
Hutchinson Police Department

You have 6 large bouncers at a bar. For the most part the bar runs smooth, and guests are left alone except for occasional customer that gets overly drunk and/or out of line with other patrons. There's one bouncer that's an aggressive nitwit -- even the other bouncers don't like him, but for the most part he just does his job and they aren't managers, so they leave him alone.
Well, one night the nitwit bouncer quietly escorts an overly drunk guy -- who is getting out of hand with the ladies -- out back, and unnecessarily kicks the $hit out him. Management finds out and fires the bouncer and makes him vacate the premises.
Meanwhile, 10 drunk fraternity brothers frequenting the club get word of their boy getting his ass kicked unfairly, so they start getting in the faces of the remaining bouncers and smarting off. In some cases the kids even chest up to a bouncer or two, shoving them. Eventually they start smashing some of the glasses and bottles all over the place, scaring off customers and making a mess of things.
