I guess.. but you're just setting yourself up. Until they can actually prove they can translate early success to later success, I don't see how you can be all riled up.. over and over and over and over again.. But I guess that's just me.

You're a Shocker fan, right? If the WSU basketball team started off great next year wouldn't you be excited even though the team hasn't had much success except for the 2006 season? If you wouldn't, then you have some serious pessimistic problems and need to learn to enjoy sports at the moment, instead of always waiting for the bad to happen. The people who are posting on this thread, besides you, are Royals fans and we're excited about the season starting and the Royals starting out playing very well. Why do you insist on trying to ruin our fun with the "doom and gloom" talk? Don't you think its blatantly obvious to us that the Royals haven't done well for awhile? You really aren't giving us any new information. You can come back later and tell us "I told you so" but we all know that this probably won't last, yet we are still trying to enjoy the moments of excitement the Royals are giving us this early in the season.
