Speaking of Severe Weather - Friday has popped up on SPC's long-range outlook. Usually, when this pops up so far out this is something to monitor with the realization that it will change, but it is likely there will be an outbreak somewhere. This looks to be a classical dryline setup across the plains. If it comes to fruition this is something we haven't seen for a couple of years. Of course tomorrow it will move east of the turnpike.

Of course it has.

Not much change. The threat for Friday looks minimal for Wichita - looking like East of I35. Just coming into medium-range models time frame.

The dry line on Friday will be the key. If there is convection overnight could also impact the setup. Right now, the dryline is forecasted to be close to Wichita which minimizes opportunities for rain. A little further east or west will change those probabilities.
