I hate that rule, but it is helpful.

LOL huge travel. Basket for USF but again, no press. Shocks will run clock and advance.

          63-50

          Shocks run clock and miss.

3 by the Bulls. 63-53 and timeout. Maybe not quite over. All we need to do is make a few FTs and not implode. Use timeouts if needed.

          1:07 left.

#1 seeds are 27-0 all time in this tournament. WOW. Not just this round. And that's a lot of UCONN I get it but still.

          Jane makes 2 FTs.

          65-53

          Inside a minute.

Rebound Shocks and timeout (should have been a foul on USF).

51 seconds, Shocks ball up 12. Survive and advance.

NEVER TRAILED. Happy for Jane and the seniors who have played their collective hearts out today.

But enjoy this one today Ladies!!!! Amazing!
Plus the team they play will have played to today. Let's hope for triple OT in the SMU Houston game. I'm rooting for SMU as I think the Shocks have a better chance against them.

Win tomorrow and things get REALLY interesting.

We'll be either playing against Houston, who we lost to by 7, or play against SMU, who we both beat and lost to by 18.

Yes. I was looking at the NET and as of yesterday, USF was at 30. I don't see them falling out of contention. Announcers said they were projected as a 7 seed. I think they're safe even after this.

Anyone who had the Shox leading wire to wire is full of ****. Very impressed with their performance today. Get rested.

Also, didn't realize the team wasn't rated as poorly as I would have thought. Same NET ranking had them at 111 today. The AAC has six top 100 teams, just mostly on the lower end. So as a conference, it may be closer to being more competitive nationally than I would have guessed.

Rice will add to that top 100 number. The others, not so much.

That has to be the best win in quite some time for the Lady Shocks. Beating the #1 seed who won the AAC by 3.5 games with the handicap of having played yesterday was not only impressive by quite unexpected.

Kudos to the coaches and the team for that effort.

I have been of the opinion for a little while know that HCKA will be back next year. This game will certainly not hurt those chances. I have felt all year that the Shocks were capable of beating any of the teams in the AAC this year if they played well except for maybe USF. Now that they are out of the way who knows.

BTW, I think ADKS should spring for a team spa visit and massages for everyone on the team.

Looking forward to watching a replay of the game tonight.

Amazing win. Does this one win buy Keitha another contract?

Rice is 93. Houston who is heading out the door is 73. However, UCF at 150 and Cincinnati at 196, the two worst NETs in the AAC are joining Houston.

As a conference the AAC is ranked 7th in the NET.
