"A very unselfish player," Clemente said. "He's the reason I got 40 against San Jacinto (last season). He was looking out for me, giving up his shot to give it to me."

And this is why many think he will be the starter next year. A pass first PG will make it better for the bigs. And might also help with recruiting.

Wow!!! Mike Kennedy commented on a game this recruit just had. His team was way down so his Coach turned him lose. He made 6 treys in a row, was 10-11 and had 32 points!!! His Juco team turned the game around with a point guard that likes to pass, and won, behind his torrid shooting and scoring. Good thing we signed this young Man early on!!!
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Perhaps, if they'll take more than one from the same team.

It is likely that Mario Little will statistically outperform Hannah where it matters - PPG.

But Shocker fans will know the real deal! :yahoo:

It's important for CH to really push himself this season. It will be tempting to relax knowing he is going to out talent 95+% of his competitors on the floor.

The young man is misplaced in Juco ball and belongs at a D1 school and we are fortunate to have him attend WSU next year. You haven't seen a point guard like this in a long, long time in the roundhouse.

There are some kids we hope can contribute, Clevin is not one of those kids.

Chipola's back up point guard, freshman Artem Slipenchuck, is starting to draw praises.

                    Artem Slipenchuck?

That's GOT to be one of the top 10 names of all time.

                      Artem

Agreed, WuDr. I thought Antiquawn Beckham was way up there, but Artem Slipenchuck is like Antiquawn squared.

Hopefully his team doesn't get upset before they make it to Hutch because I'm really looking forward to seeing him play

Ditto. I told my wife tonight that if Chipola makes it, I'm going to try and see my first NJCAA tournament game.

Back when I was in HS and attending HCC, tickets were impossible to come by. That doesn't appear to be the case anymore.

Marshall said tonight on his coaches show he would like to see them make it to Hutch and see lots of Shockerfans show up. I think we should give Hannah a small dose of what he can expect from us rowdy shocker fans should they make it to Hutch!!! :goshocks:
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

When would the tournament be? If possible I'd like to make the trek up to Hutch but I'd have to plan ahead. At least have an idea of how to work it into my schedule.
