I hope Tyler reaches all his hopes and dreams! #18 in the state of Kansas, while quite good, isn't exactly D-I is it? Hopefully he has some genetics that push his size and he keeps working on his game. Keep us posted on his recruiting prospects!

Ive made my point. I'm not biased. I've just seen my fair share of what he can do and who he's done it against. You can say what you want and try to discredit me but in the end just wait and see what he has coming. He has outplayed many good players especially d-1 players but I wouldn't expect any of you to know that. All you guys do is make opinions and assumptions and plot your rumors on here for everyone to see. If you want the facts why don't you come see me and I'll tell them to you or better yet why don't you get out of your bubble and go watch him play.

I didn't see anyone "trashing" TB. It's a discussion forum. It's easy to take comments the wrong way. A lot of things are said tongue in cheek.
If you want to see trashing - check out the Palm Watch thread.
I believe that everyone of us want 3G to recruit the absolute best players he can get - If it's a local kid - that's icing on the cake.
I personally hope that he gets every local kid that can make WSU better and Tyler could very well be the next one.

dude, check out the rest of this forum. Check out the guards that are already on the recruiting radar for WSU. Check out the other schools recruiting them. There are guys who end up in D1 ball who aren't already heavily recruited during their Jr years in HS, but those guys are rare. The competition for scholarship is intense. Lots of guys in Tyler's situation play year-round and go to specialty schools to get expert coaching.
WSU is a top-20 type team. The roster is set up to play against the top colleges in the nation. Shooting guards should preferably be at least 6'3". Point guards can be shorter, but they better have incredible skills or incredible quickness at the 6'0" level.
I appreciate people who stand up and back their buddies, but people on a message board aren't the ones that have to be convinced. Marshall is certainly aware of Tyler. If there's a recruiting interest, that will happen. If there's not a recruiting interest, nothing will happen.
The scouting services rank hundreds of players. I'd say at least 400. If none of the scouting services lists him (and they don't), it's really unlikely that he's a legitimate prospect for any but the bottom end of the Missouir Valley. Maybe he's been missed. It happens, but Marshall mainly recruits players who rank in the top 150-200 high school players in the nation, or he recruits Junior College All Americans.
It's not an insult to not be recruited by WSU.The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Okay, I've watched him play twice, so I suppose I might be the most qualified to talk about him who isn't directly blood related. He's a good high school varsity player and he might be a solid player at a D2/NAIA school, but that's the ceiling. I watched him against Andover Central, and quite frankly was not impressed. He shot the ball A LOT, and didn't have much success shooting it. Scored 24 I believe in a very quiet way, which is not what you want to see from a D1 guy. None of his stats pop off the page, such as the 29.3 PPG. Austin Reaves scored 44 a game in HS, against similar competition. I'm not saying he'll be a bad player wherever he goes - I'm just saying D1 probably isn't for him. And that's okay, it's not for 97% of high school varsity athletes either.Brummett throws, STRUCK HIM OUT! THE SHOCKERS ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! AN UNBELIEVABLE STORY!
