Personally, I think Humphries chose poorly and will suffer in terms of his development for being so deep on the bench. (Swen Nater doesn't come along very often.) But that's just me -- who knows what he thinks, and who knows whether UK will be his last stop?
What does seem clear is that his next stop is unlikely to include a quick trip to the NBA, at least unless he has a truly epic turnaround. If he were to leave, and to be interested in WSU at a time when WSU had an opening (also a key factor, and one that may have worked against his ending up here to begin with), I think he'd certainly be worth at least considering.
