Just throwing it out there... But with Baker testing NBA waters... Wessell could get academic scholarship... Maybe we have options... Heaven forbid some players might pay their own way... And the obvious that some won't come back..

I can see why people say it, but I really just don't think Wessel is leaving early. He's a guy you want on the roster as long as you can have him even if only to make teaching and coaching in practice easy while serving as a backstop when people are struggling in games.
If Wessel is super sad about his playing time, maybe he would graduate and transfer, but I don't actually think he's one of those guys that wants basketball to be his future. He might not be terribly worried about playing time. He's a really good guy to have around. The academic scholarship or the walk on idea seem more likely to me for a guy like him if he's one of the people where the answer comes from

For those who don't remember, Oshon West (http://shockernet.net/forum/showthre...ght=oshon+west) was a North Carolina player who was vocal about his interest in WSU and at one point seemed ready to commit to the Shocks. He apparently ended up at Louisburg College, a local juco, at least for 2013-14 (according to the NJCAA's stats). Interestingly, the last post in his thread, from well back in 2013, was by a guy known as pinstripers.
The bottom line is that none of us has any idea how credible or meaningful the reports of a commitment by Mulder may be. The coaches may know, and they're the only ones who matter. As for us, we'll find out sometime before the 2015-16 season. In the meantime, there sure seems to be a lot of dithering, consternation, and speculation completely out of the blue -- and, once again, related to specific current players -- about something that may or may not be real, now or ever, at the very same time as WSU is about to open its followup to the most remarkable two years in program history. Doesn't that seem a little misdirected, as well as inappropriate, at a point when we ought to be enjoying the heck out of what actually IS happening?

3. Two players have been put on notice that they are the current number 12 and number 13 on the roster and that if #1 or #2 doesn't happen, then the coaching staff will help them find a better opportunity; OR two recruits (Shamet and McDuffie) have been made aware that if #1 and #2 doesn't happen, then they will be asked to attend prep school.
4. Marshall is 90% confident that #1 and/or #2 will happen and that half #3 is likely.
5. Marshall has discussed with Mulder and/or Frankamp the requirement of #1, 2, and 3 for them to be on scholarship in 2015-16 and is encouraging one or both to consider paying their own way for one year."Prediction is very difficult, especially if it is about the future."

"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
