    Previous JUCO leaving early...James Anacreon?
If Wessel and Baker do graduate, they would be eligible to transfer to another school and play immediately, without sitting out a transfer year. Or......we could find a big man in the same type of situation that wanted to come here to play as a Senior.

He wasn't a juco, but a transfer who had to sit out a year to play here....AJ Hawkins. I thinks that's a bigger deal than having a juco move on. To my limited knowledge, there was no problem except that for his next year he was told he'd probably have a lesser roll and minutes.

Marshall helped AJ get to Oklahoma Baptist and AJ was key in them winning the NAIA National Championship.

AJ wasn't asked to leave. He left to get closer to home for some other issues. It was certainly not on bad terms.

Thanks. I knew that he left on the best of terms and that he wasn't asked to leave. Also knew he was from Edmond (well, maybe I think I know), so didn't think it was personal reasons since his home area was so close. He did play in Europe. Guess that's what happens when you hear "rumors", didn't hear the real reason, and make your own conclusion. I mistakenly put it to less playing time.

That said, it not always the coach as in AJ's case. Players leave that are not asked to leave, but do have their own reasons, sometimes family, sometimes personal, sometimes lack of playing time.

I have part of a solution to your mathematical problem. Ron Baker will be a San Antonio Spur next season. You read it here first.

Maybe Ron will take a baseball scholarship!

Actually, he'd probably be their best player!

Whomever gets him (and I hope it's us) will get a great basketball player and a person of great character, who has risen above the obstacles life has thrown at him.

Rutgers' head coach in Hutch to watch Freeman tonight. Love to know if Shocker staff will be there.

My son and I are going. I will try to keep an eye out. I would recognize Forbes and Heiar, but not sure I'd recognize the new guy at a distance. I haven't seen enough of him yet.

No sightings of WSU coaches yet. Only Rutgers, WKU, North Texas and Prairie View A&M. Good crowd though.

Isn't Prairie View A&M that college that has branches in Newton (Prairie View) and somewhere around College Station (A&M)?

Add Memphis and Houston with coaches here. Freeman had a good first half with 13. Had a couple of really bad passes for turnovers.

Trinity Valley's coach looks like Seth Greenburg.
