I want it to be Hatch and Priedom. I know Priedom is a senior, but he cannot help us. Let him go to Newman where he can start and we can start over. If we need 3 and Orupke is here I dont know whom I would like to go. Probably Mantas unless is completely healed

I say let Preadom finish out, he puts as much effort into the game as about anyone the team.

We can afford one scholarship for one year. Pushing a senior out that has done everything asked of him is low and I have a problem with ANY Shocker fan who would openly suggest it be done.

The time to push Wendell out has come and gone.

Hatch could leave but personally I hope not. I know he's not as athletic or quick as the others, but he's got good size and a nice shot. For the most part he's a smart player that could be a really good role player. I think his D will get better as he adapts to the game. I think he could learn to make up for his lack of quickness. Either way, he's someone I think will be successful in life. Gotta like that. I understand what people see that they don't like though.

I like Durley as well....most the time. But the effort factor could push him out the door. I guess it depends on what kind of improvements Marshall has seen throughout the year and what he sees the rest of the way. Durley could be a stud. Should be eventually. But does Marshall want to have to prod him along constantly to get it out of him?

Gal is the only other player on a 'ship that I could see not coming back. I like Gal. He can do some good things when he plays within his abilities and doesn't try to do too much. He's not a top PG and should only play there sparingly. But I understand the situation we're in. I do think he could return, and stay, home and play in Europe if he wanted to. He wouldn't get the minutes he will here but he'd get paid to do it.

I don't really see anyone else leaving. You don't cut a SR unless he has legal issues or is a total cancer to the team. Wendell doesn't fit that.

Ellis has a ton of potential and really could have used a RS. He'll return and by the time he's a JR will be a player. I'd love to see it happen sooner though.

Clemente and Griskenas are both good players that will provide some nice SR leadership. Clemente could be a vocal leader and Griskenas seems to be a guy that will go about his business and do what's needed. Hopefully his knee heals well.

I see no more than 2 more recruits and maybe just one. A FR PG and some kind of PF. Preferably a FR although I'd take a three year guy like Davis.

One thing about Ellis. If we pull in another forward for next year, Marshall could probably afford to redshirt him next year.

            Just a thought.

It's crossed my mind but I'm not sure the depth of next years team will be comfortable enough to RS someone. Lots of potential but you just really never know. Although I guess if they see something through the early practices.....

With Hawkins, Griz, Durley, Clemente and one more (which we need to even make it a possibility) at the forward positions, I think we'd be Ok without Aaron. But if any of them go down, his RS could be pulled.

I think that if EO doesn't show, Durley stays. I also believe that "who else goes" will be dependent upon who HCGM signs. Also, if I were him, I'd try to get Gal to give me as sure and honest an answer as he could get. If Gal is up in the air about it, that to may be an answer as far as HCGM is concerned.

i will probably get hammered but...................don't let the door hit you on the way out Durley. I don't mind when a player sucks because of physical limitations but when you have talent and are too lazy and apparently either too dumb or just don't pay enough attention to the mental side of the game then you have gots to go!

WP---I want him back. He paid his dues. he may not play much but he deserves this opportunity as a Senior. He plays his heart out.

GM--I want him back but I doubt he will be here. Just a guess.

GH--My guess is he will leave. If he stays, his playing time could be less.

JT---I want him back and he is a keeper.

AE---He should return and has potential

RC---Our best rebounder and he will have a nice senior year with a point guard that will compliment his game and get him the ball in the right places.

MG---I hope he recovers and plays here.

EO---We really need him to show. Along with the 4 already signed, and AJ, this would be a reloading that will kick behind and take names. But there is more-----

2-3 new recuits more depending on all of the variables already listed on this thread. HCGM acan recruit so this part will be awesome
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Same deal, people talking about what THEY want, what THEY hope. Tell us what you think the coach will do.

Pretty much agree with Sub, but if we sign another PG/SG I think Hatch is gone. (and coach has stated he likes to have 6 guards on his team).

If EO shows up, and we sign a PF, then Durley or Mantas is gone. Durley because of lack of effort on Defense, or Mantas because he doesn't seemed jelled into the overall team, could be because of being from a foreign country, in otherwords, a communication problem. If EO does not show up, I think we will sign a PF/C type, 6'8" at the shortest, 6'11" probably at the tallest.

I, personally, do not think Gal is gone because even to be a regular player on an European team, that was any good, he would have to be an all conference player here, which he is not so far, otherwise, he wouldn't see much playing time. I want him to return.

Durley has so much offensive potential, I just can't see him not coming back. Give him an offseason of working on his defense, and I think he can be an all conference player. Brauer & PJ both obviously think he is good enough to stay. They admit his D needs work, but it can get better and be improved.

"He definitely could play for money one day," said Braeuer, who has been out the past month with a concussion and had plenty of time to watch Durley in action. "His upside is tremendous. Me and P.J. talked about it, and from a Wichita State standpoint J.T. is the best back-to-the-basket scorer we've had since Paul (Miller). That being said, he also has lapses on defense where he gets a little lazy. He knows that. Everybody knows that. We're working with him every day."
