      Exactly.

I'm disappointed he didn't chose FSU or WSU, but he's still an FSU legacy and the brother of a WSU player who seems to be a very nice guy. I'll cheer for him personally regardless.

Does this help you decide? "f**k YOU!" :)

(check out the JKS mean tweets bit.)

That "Stabbed in the back" tweet by Nick makes a little more sense now.
I think they might wait 2 weeks before announcing, but this is a poorly kept secret of late.

I hope you are right, because KU will be preseason #2 and one of the best teams in the country.

            • Who knows. Maybe we kill two birds with one stone. We play KU in the Final Four and Nick gets to play against his brother.

              • Wiggins vs. Wiggins would be pretty cool but Bill already said no way. Just give us the Med School.

The comment is not without merit. There are more than just internet rumors about a position opening being filled by his father.

Personally, I think he made a great decision. Coach Self will challenge him and he didn't get the promises that Cheatapari lobbed his way from Bill.

Now, whether you want it to happen or not, whether you believe it will happen or not, expect rumors to abound about a matchup with KU. For at least a little bit.

                    Is that legal anymore?

Andrew's dad wanted him to go to FSU.

I'd like to see this rumor mill you guys get your information from.

Also, if you don't think Marshall wouldn't have offered Wiggins' dad an assistant position if he thought he had a realistic shot at getting Andrew (which he did not) then you're fooling yourself.

                      • Picking KU may be a good thing for the Shox...maybe this will motivate Nick to give his little brother a run for best player in the state next year.

Mostly. You have to hire the guy to be an actual coach. Not “Director of Basketball Operations” or “Director of Student-Athlete Development”.

In truth, I'd take Wiggins' dad over a lot of other dads out there if I was going to hire one to be a coach. He at least played in the NBA.

Whether Wiggins' dad is or isn't going to be a coach at KU and that's why they got him, it looks good for the state of Kansas that the #1 recruit THAT DOESN'T EVEN LIVE IN AMERICA is going to a school in our state. Now recruits can say "If Wiggins thinks Lawrence isn't so bad, maybe Wichita is just as good, if not better".

Maybe Andrew will drive to Wichita and take in a few WSU games. That equals more press for us. Outside of him coming to WSU, which wasn't going to happen, he picked the 2nd best spot for us.

                            Unfortunately.

FSU signed the #1 football recruit two seasons ago (Mario Edwards Jr.). Mario Edwards Sr. is the Director of Player Development at FSU now (although at least he's an FSU alumni so he was connected to the school already).

Seeking a mentor to replace the departed Terrell Buckley, FSU says it took extra steps with the NCAA before hiring Mario Edwards Sr. to a player-development position during the same offseason that his son, a prized recruit, signed with the Seminoles.

                            • Kansas vs Kentucky challenge?

KU can play Kentucky and we play Louisville.

                              Book it!

There are already many non-WSU fans saying a KU/WSU match up would be nice.
