  • Rojas looks more like a power forward to me, but I’ve been wrong before.

He's listed as a center. Can't shoot 3s so not sure how affective he can be at a 4.

That was my thought .. to be a 4 you need to be decent at 3s ... 23% isnt' decent. Not seeing this one. The Xavier Bell signing at least had upside but a 6'8 player who can't shoot threes who we only have for a year just doesn't seem useful

Yeah.....welcome to the current state of Wichita State basketball. More of the same I suppose.

Give me 9 pts a game and the rest of those numbers and I’ll be sold.

Hopefully he doesn't play Mo minutes and is strictly a depth add. But why would a 5th year senior come here and not play more minutes?

                        Might have relationships in Hutch

A small point. I don't know anything about this recruit, but I'm fine with a 4 playing inside if the 1, 2, 3, and 5 can hit from 3. Our likely starting center likes playing outside on offense.

                            • I was wrong, he is more of a center. Sounds like a high character kid with a big motor. Has had a tough time with injuries.

                              • I’ll give our staff credit. Not like we’re just sitting around…that said, it remains to be seen what the effect of potential transfers might be.
