So, SR, are you saying that if he passes the Ohio Graduation Test (OGT) he'll also be able to satisfy any applicable standards of WSU and the NCAA? (And if so, how do you know?) All the OGT does if you pass it is get you a diploma, but a diploma by itself doesn't automatically make you a qualifier.

It doesnt make you an auto qualifier, but there is something about an academic redshirt.

I dont know details of this, but if admitted he can sit out first year, take classes and use that to play the following year as a RS Freshman.

A partial qualifier and academic redshirt for Daontae may be the best outcome from strictly a basketball point of view. It would allow him to practice this year and be a Redshirt Frosh the year after Carl Hall graduates. He would be competing for that starting position and know the system.

I don't think he'd be allowed to practice. At least for the first semester. If this is like what happened at KU anyway
