This kid is obviously in my back yard. I have seen him many times and he can definitely play. His biggest upside is ability to get off the floor in a nano-second.
I haven't mentioned a WSU connection, not thinking there was any mutual interest.
He always has the local recruiters (UD, UC, WSU & Miami) at his games (his HS team played in a fairly competitive Summer league).
It goes without saying, but there wasn't any signs of a certain Black & Yellow in the stands.
Obviously, this is long shot for WSU but stranger things have happened. 8)Above all, make the right call.

If he leaves the city is will be a shock, let alone the state.
Miller has been all over him as of late and is talking about pairing him with his HS running mate.
If he even visits, Ford & Heier should get a raise. 8)Above all, make the right call.

"A few schools are already starting to stand out to Hawkins as he gets ready to finish up the recruiting process.
"The schools I like the most right now are Dayton, Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, and West Virginia. I like all of them but not in any particular order just yet," said Hawkins."

Shocks are in Hawkins final four with Auburn, Alabama and Dayton. He will visit Auburn this week and Dayton on September 15th. He says he has no clear leader. Miami (FL) and LSU have also offered and West Virginia is recruiting. The Shockers have also offered Andre Yates, and IMO that could be a package offer along with Hawkins.

I was starting to think the Shockers might be out of the picture for Teddy Hawkins. Apparently that is not the case. Although he "loved everything" about his visit to Dayton last weekend, he did not commit. His visit to Wichita State is set for September 30th to October 2. He will also visit West Virginia.
