And this is why we don't -- at least those of us who know better -- get ourselves all worked up with doomsday speculation.

Obviously, there are still matters to be worked out: the scholarship situation -- by the way, are there any non-newcomers who might qualify for an academic scholarship? -- and, speaking of academics, Hawkins's getting himself qualified. But at the very least, he won't be signing anywhere else, and I have to believe he wants to be here -- who wouldn't after watching the Shocks against CSU? So welcome, Teddy!

Edit: By the way, I'm in Texas right now, and although I'm nowhere near water like trop is, it's about 75 and would be a beautiful day for golf here, too. Nice to escape lovely Doodah at this time of year, especially when there's no basketball to be missed. Years ago I knew a woman in Wichita who used to live in the land of the Conchs down in Key West. Mystified the heck out of me until I learned her parents lived in Wichita.

I noticed that too, but fear not Marshall has shown us that his more than willing to toss a player aside if he finds someone he likes better. It reminds me of the bank commercial with the new customer getting ice cream while the old customer just looks on. These kids deserve to be treated better than that.

He better hope Hall plays the 5 next year, because there is no scenerio where Hall isn't in the starting lineup next season.

The starters at the 3-5 spots next year could easily be Hawkins, Early, and Hall.

Since Henry will be unlikely to be ready next year, and in some ways the 5 is more natural for Hall anyway, it makes sense to move him there or else EO would be our only 5.

With Anacreon, Hawkins, and Early all able to play the 4, it makes sense for our depth there as well.
