As impressive as that dunk looks, I'm more impressed by the mop-up dunk at around the :27 mark in the video. It's that sort of awareness for situations that makes a good player great.

I agree. Thought that put back slam was the best dunk of highlight reel.

            Other impressive plays:

0:24 Bank shot on the move while taking contact
0:55 Very nice assist off of fake jump shot to get teammate a layup
            1:02 Blocked shot
1:05 Sweet trey from top of the key
1:08 17 foot pull up jumper off a a fake trey
            1:14 Floating baby hook

But can he hit a D-1 curve ball, er I mean can he play D-1 defense.

Don't confuse the attraction in what brought CE to the Shox. The Valley is no more a draw to a recruit than the Horizon is for Butler. It's unlike the Big East, ACC, even the MWC that helps draw top players to all their teams. Now a days, it's WSU, CU, or UNI that brings in the top talent, not any attration that the MVC may have. A big Thank You to HCGM and staff!!

                    • I don't think I've ever quoted my own post, but it got buried in the unenviable position of being the last post of a previous page, which rarely gets seen. But in the context of the discussion on this page, is particularly relevant.

"I am excited,'' Early said Thursday night. "I feel it was the perfect fit, and they had everything that I needed.''
"I didn't want to rush, but I definitely made a decision that was right for me,'' Early said. "It was the right fit at the right time. You just have to take advantage of it.''
"He made the decision that was right for him, instead of chasing the big lights,'' Sullivan coach Kevin DeVantier said.
"I think it's a tremendous decision for him because he's comfortable,'' DeVantier added. "He's confident about them, that they are going to take care of him as a person, not just as a player.''
Combine those comments with some that Anacreon and VanVleet made and it's starting to come to light that the system and people WSU has in place to support our student atheletes is excellent when compared with other schools. Wichita State must have the "it" factor!

Carl Hall switching from VCU to WSU. Fred VanVleet. James Anacreon. Cleanthony Early. Earl Watson . . . Perry Ellis? :)

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

That comment ended the discussion on the Washington State board.
