Early, from Middletown, N.Y., made 57 percent of his shots and 78 percent of his free throws.

Maybe in state kids like Wessel and/or Baker are willing to pay their own way for a year.
Does Armstead have the ability thru family to pay his own way?
One or two of these happening opens up for additions without anybody getting hurt. Who knows?

I forgot about the "could play guard in the NBA" report about him that is NOT from anyone associated with the schools recruiting him. With all the front court players we're seeing, is there a possibility that Marshall gives a 6'7" or 6'8" guy a look at SG??
Here's a bizarre (and longshot), but possible lineup
PG - VanVleet
SG - Early
SF - Ellis
PF - Hall
C - Orukpe
That lineup would be unbelievable at defense, rebounding, and transition. I believe that's the game Marshall likes to play. FVV, if you're reading this, I apologize in advance for the reference, but...
...VanVleet would look really small in that lineup. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

In any case, always good to get an Early commitment. :)

After watching Cleanthony highlights, he is exciting! The kid has a little Lamar Odom in him with that long body and ability to play anywhere on the court! I will be suprised if he wasn't a top 10 juco this year.Livin the dream

"I am excited,'' Early said Thursday night. "I feel it was the perfect fit, and they had everything that I needed.''"I didn't want to rush, but I definitely made a decision that was right for me,'' Early said. "It was the right fit at the right time. You just have to take advantage of it.''
"He made the decision that was right for him, instead of chasing the big lights,'' Sullivan coach Kevin DeVantier said.
"I think it's a tremendous decision for him because he's comfortable,'' DeVantier added. "He's confident about them, that they are going to take care of him as a person, not just as a player.''
Carl Hall switching from VCU to WSU. Fred VanVleet. James Anacreon. Cleanthony Early. Earl Watson . . . Perry Ellis? :)
