The coaching staff might be pretty busy with other things than discussing Orukpe. We're still in the signing period and every expectation is that they're not done signing players - ir at least aren't done trying to sign players.

Oh, FWIW, US Army 1969-1975. I hold 2 offices in Thomas Hopkins American Legion Post 4 by the downtown tag office. I feel pretty qualified to discuss wars and VietNam, but this sure isn't the place to do it.

the way i understand it, is the recruits can come on campus when 2 things happen, their school is out of session and then when WSU's spring semester is out of session.

I don't know if Coach Gross is prone to maybe exaggerate a wee bit, but IIRC he reported that Orukpe plays "with his head above the rim". You don't hear that expression often - it's generally just "plays above the rim".

Imagine holding a basketball directly in front of your face and dropping it through the basket. Coach Gross also reported Orukpe started on one side of the lane, jumped, grabbed a rebound and landed on the other side of the lane. I don't think elevation or air time is going to be a factor in dunks. Learning American-style "show" dunks probably hasn't happened.
