IMO if AR's shoulder problems are resolved and KR puts 20-30 pounds of muscle on his frame before the season starts; we will see a different guard rotation pattern during next season.

Assuming no steroids, 20 pounds is about the most muscle a natural athlete can gain in a year. Mayb err a little bit on the high side due to AR's height, but I would lean conservative due to his genetic ectomorphic predisposition. If he gained 10 pounds of muscle and 15 pounds overall next year he would appear transformed.

Correct on that. 20 pounds is hard to gain, especially when you play basketball and have the genetics Austin appears to have.

If Reaves has a 5-month rehab - let's see May, June, July, August, September. 1,2,3,4,5. Yep, that's 5 months. So around mid-September Rosenboom can start working to put some weight on Reaves upper body.

There might be some natural adding of muscle mass due to physical maturity, and Reaves may gain a few pounds of lower body muscle, but to expect anything above the waist is probably going to lead to disappointment. He's likely to lose some upper body muscle mass from atrophy due to disuse.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

I've been telling my nephew for years that if You have the lower body and you have no upper body, you got a problem building your upper body. You have the upper body, and you have no legs, you got a problem building your legs. You have the upper...you have the lower body and you don't have the upper body, the upper body, it is easier to build. So if you have the lower body and you don't have the upper body, it is easier to build the upper body. You have the upper body and you don't have the legs, you got a problem building the lower body. You have the upper body, but you don't have the lower body, you got a problem building downstairs. You got the legs on the bottom, it is easier to build on the top, so you don't have much as a problem. The damn boy won't listen to me.

If you told him all that, not surprised he won't listen.

With the juco transfer it is a great time to RS, I'd bet the barn its a done deal or he would have had it already.

Unless Smith's spot is filled by a guard, I don't think we have the luxury of redshirting Mr. Reaves.
