I think it would be difficult to convince Austin to redshirt as long as he thinks he can contribute. Marshall evidently had to apply a little tuff-love last summer when he and CJ were caught playing pickup one on one before a doctor's release on them.

Would that be the same pick up group that got Steven Solomon's nose broke before he left the program?

Austin Reaves has repeatedly come back in short time from dislocated shoulders. Unless someone us able to put him in a straight jacket the chances he's not on the floor next November are slim and none. Besides, what better way to gain weight than sitting on your arse.

I've heard that a high protein, high calorie diet, combined with a focus on strenuous, anaerobic exercise is probably the best way.

            Also, don't skip leg day.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

No doubt some teeth gnashing going on right now. Might have to change the plan.

How about a good dose of regular prairie dog hunting?

Don't see how that could possibly be anaerobic, Doc. Those little suckers are elusive and fast.

Without JR and Daishon, redshirting AR means that the 4th guard becomes CJ, or Duff, or ZB. Hmmmm

A lot may depend on SHJ.

You have the upper body, but you don't have the lower body, you got a problem building downstairs. You got the legs on the bottom, it is easier to build on the top, so you don't have much as a problem. The damn boy won't listen to me.

Just so I can be sure I'm understanding you: If you build your lower body but lack upper body, it's easier to build upper body as opposed to the reverse. Is that correct?

                          • Bump.

It's been awful quiet here the past month. Where's our good friend ARShocker? He's been great at providing insight on the young man. Is Austin able to participate in the summer practices? Inquiring minds want to know (at least this one does).

I saw the picture of Conner and Austin and others celebrating a young girl's birthday. He had his arms around the shoulders of the other two.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."
