Absolutely #1 overall, no Jackson means L doesn't count, W would have carried more weight.

They'll get a 1 seed, but Villanova or UNC might jump them for #1 overall.

#1 overall really doesn't matter either it seems. They committee stacks the bracket however they want.

This game was basically a glorified scrimmage for KU since they didn't have Jackson. A win looks great, a loss means next to nothing. If anything it gives them a full week to rest, which is great when you only have 7 players that are any good.

But, on the other hand, it might hurt them too. Jackson will go like 13 days between games. I guess that's the risk you take when you're an idiot that leaves the scene of an accident.

I think you're a little drunk off of the excitement stemming from that KU loss to be seeing clearly.

KU at full strength, re: with Josh Jackson (who they didn't have today), is so much better than Gonzaga and it isn't even close. And I've watched FAR too many Gonzaga games this year in the wee hours of the morning.

But anyway, KU probably wouldn't be a 1 seed in any of the previous 4-5 years. They are this year because there isn't anyone else stand-out enough to take it away from them.
