Yeah I was noticing that OSU barely held off Tulsa prior to playing us. We got smacked with one of their best efforts. They broke us in that game.

My best friend lives in Stillwater and went to the game today. I asked him what OSU did here in Wichita that they did not do today.

"Made shots and didn't make silly mistakes. WV is the best perimeter defensive team OSU has faced and potentially will face. WV dictated and dominated on D all day. Plus, WV made shots. Big shots at opportune times. Kept the crowd out of it. The place wanted to explode but every time it was about to, WV would nail a three or get a dunk."

I have slingtv and have access to all ESPN channels (paid) and the only thing I have had blacked out are the MVC conference games.

I get the idea of Cox blocking out Wichita since they fund the broadcast, but blacking out all other games seems like a counterintuitive move for the MVC.

An arbitraty reduction of the number of eyes that get to view your product makes no sense. As a fan of MLS, a league which does a great job of making content available in all forms, this seems like a missed opportunity. Especially as cord cutting becomes the norm.

I guess there will be one less person watching at least 20 games this year.

It is SUPER dumb that I can't watch MoSt play Indy St... or any other MVC game from around the conference. I wonder which person in some office somewhere thinks that there is a sizable Wichita market of people who would be interested in buying a ticket to that game. As if blacking it out somehow increases the odds of them going to this game.

I am able to get the ISU game on my fox sports slingtv account. So that one makes sense... some of the others have made no sense though.

I've found that using my phones internet bypasses a lot of blackouts. If I'm connected to my home wifi, it's blacked out, connect to Verizon and it works fine
